He is Newfie born; Alberta raised. He is Irish, but the red hair will give that away.
He is an Aries, his pet peeve is burnt toast, and he has never been bitten by a rattle-snake.
He participates in mountain activities such as hiking, rock climbing and biking. Like many Canadian kids, he failed to make the NHL. He represented Alberta twice as a Speed Skater but never won anything better than silver. However, he was willing to wear a full body skin-suit in cold environments so obviously the man has confidence.

I was born and raised in Saskabush but I’ve been in Lethbridge for a few years now. I’m married to Rhianna since September, 2009 but made sure she was nothing like the singer before we got hitched. I’m the kind of guy who’s thought up titles for every James Bond film if it were done as a porno. I love a good guitar riff and I’m an expert lead guitarist (on Rock Band). I’m a geek for movies, video games and comics but I counter-act that with regular showers and not living with my mother. When I play Mario Kart I say things that would get me kicked out of the Roadhouse.

Hey, I'm Russ… I was born and raised in Calgary, moved to Lethbridge after finishing school to get my start in radio! Ended up here doing the grunt work and worked my way through the ranks to make it where I am now!
I think Lethbridge is a fantastic city to live in, it's definitely a great place to start life on your own! I'm engaged and live on the South end of the city with my Fiancee, Amy, our dog Guinness, a Portugese Water Dog, (and yes… we had him before the Obama's went and copied us!) And our Bearded Dragon, Sushi!
We're getting married in 2010, and the days seem to be flying by and every day we seem to be booking something new for the wedding!
I love to rock… both listening to the music, playing it on one of my many instruments and of course a little Guitar Hero every now and then never hurts… I play on easy… medium sometimes when I'm feeling lucky!
And yes, I am the youngest one at the station, as it's sometimes… often pointed out by everyone else, but I think you'll find I know my fair share of good tunes and rock trivia!
